Vehicle Description

1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe

**SOLD!!**

427 Big Block | 4-Speed Manual | Frame-Off Restoration in 2022 | Original Build Sheet

There are classic Corvettes, and then there are the cars that remind you exactly why the late-1960s big-block era remains one of the most celebrated periods in American performance history.

Presented here is a 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray T-top, equipped with the legendary 427 cubic-inch big-block V8 and a 4-speed manual transmission, a combination that represents the very essence of late-1960s American muscle. With its aggressive stance, unmistakable Coke-bottle curves, and driver-focused cockpit, the C3 Corvette remains one of the most iconic shapes ever to leave the GM design studios.

This particular example is a documented big-block car, accompanied by its original build sheet (tank sticker) confirming factory specifications and options.

In 2022, the car underwent a comprehensive frame-off restoration and mechanical recommissioning. Every nut and bolt renewed with the goal of returning the car to strong driving condition while preserving the integrity of a genuine big-block Corvette - Full Documentation of restoration, including photographic records available to serious inquiries.

All lighting systems, gauges, vacuum systems, headlights, wipers, and other mechanical functions were inspected and brought into proper working order during the restoration process.

Condition

The car presents as a well-sorted driver-quality big-block Corvette, benefiting from the extensive recommissioning work completed in 2022.

The frame and birdcage are reported solid, and the car shows no indication of prior collision damage. The glass remains in very good condition overall, with the windshield noted to have a minor scratch from a wiper blade in the past.

The car retains its original wheels, now fitted with new black wall tires, though the original red-stripe tire option noted on the build sheet can easily be reinstated for those wishing to return the car to that exact specification.

Driving Experience

Behind the wheel, the 427 delivers exactly what enthusiasts expect from a big-block Corvette: immediate torque, thunderous acceleration, and an unmistakable mechanical soundtrack.

Paired with the 4-speed manual transmission, the car offers a raw, engaging driving experience that modern performance cars simply cannot replicate.

Documentation

Included with the vehicle are:

  • Original factory build sheet (tank sticker)
  • Restoration documentation from 2022
