Vehicle Description

This Italian-built 50cc mini bike is believed to have been manufactured by Di Blasi for use by Ducati’s MotoGP teams; given to Ducati pilot Jimmie Adamo in 1993 as a pit bike. Following Adamo’s tragic passing during the 7th lap of the 1993 Daytona 200, the bike reportedly remained unridden and unfueled for more than 30 years.

Recently, the bike was carefully recommissioned and is now in running and driving condition. It retains its original finishes and components and presents as a time-capsule example of Italian motorsport heritage.
